H.R. 622--Hope for Children Act.
The House passed the Hope for Children Act (H.R. 622), which would make permanent and expand to $10,000 the adoption tax credit for both regular and special-needs adoptions. This language was included in H.R. 1836, the larger tax relief bill that was signed into law June 6.
