NEA supported an amendment by Senators Dodd (D-CT) and Collins (R-ME) to the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) reauthorization bill (S. 1) to authorize full funding of Title I. The amendment would allow Congress to fund the Title I program to fully serve all eligible students. The amendment passed.
