This amendment would have maintained the integrity of the class size reduction initiative so that teachers have greater opportunity to meet the learning needs of their students. Studies have clearly demonstrated the positive impact of class size reduction on teaching and learning, according to group members. In just three years, bipartisan class size reduction efforts have helped 1.7 million children. Failed to pass.
